1. There Is No Account
Damson Kitchen does not use accounts, sign-up, or sign-in. We do not hold a copy of your recipes, photos, notes, or any other content on our servers — everything you create in the app is stored exclusively in local storage on your own device. There is no profile, email address, or password on our end to delete, because none of that exists in the first place.
2. How to Delete Your Data
Because everything lives on your device, deleting it is entirely in your control:
- Delete everything: uninstall the Damson Kitchen app. This removes the app's local database and all photos immediately — there is nothing left behind on our end or anywhere else.
- Delete specific recipes or collections: open the recipe or collection in the app and use the delete option, without uninstalling the whole app.
3. Before You Delete
If you'd like to keep a copy of your recipes, or move them to a new device, use the app's built-in Export feature first: open Settings > Data & Backup > Export My Data, which bundles your recipes and photos into a single file you can save wherever you like (a cloud drive, email to yourself, AirDrop to another device, etc.) before uninstalling. That file is created and shared entirely by you — Damson Kitchen never receives or stores a copy of it.
If you are having a problem with the app, we are happy to help — email us at hello@damsonkitchen.com and we will work with you to resolve it.
